Its hard to believe that a year ago from today I found myself, for the very first time, woken to the sound of the busy Tokyo street in front of my Azabu guesthouse. Its both encouraging for me too see that I've come this far since then, and very sad that I am that far detached from it all.
Its strange how sometimes when we are emotionally burdened we can become inspired. Today I decided to post several poems that are very dear to me. The quote posted a few lines down spells it out perfectly.
(A Rehash of My Previous Entry)
The few of you who follow my page religiously may have noticed that I've been doing some reorganizing of my gallery, trying to make it appear a touch more professional, as well as uploading several old compositions that predate my college career. Its interesting to see just how much I've changed since then; I can't help but laugh at some of the comments and follow-up responses made to my old deviations. Though many of these were taken down, I made sure to save these pages to my Hard Disk as a sign of the progress we've made, if not simply for a good laugh every once in a blue moon.
More to come as time allows!
Final Fantasy (#1)
"...All artists work is autobiographical. Any writers work is a map of their psyche. You can really see what their concerns are, what their obsessions are, and what interests them."
